Frontier Airlines has announced their introductory fares for seven new markets - including Grand Rapids! Service from GRR to DEN begins on Friday, May 14, 2010.  Click here for more information.

Federal Stimulus money has been made available to GFIA for TSA's Advanced Surveillance Program (CCTV cameras).  ARRA LogoThe American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) is providing $770,109 for the project (estimated total project cost is $770,109).  For more information on ARRA, visit www.recovery.gov.

 

Security Updates

The Department of Homeland Security continues to maintain the national threat level at ORANGE for all domestic air travel within the United States.

The Transportation Security Adminstration wants all travelers to be aware of their 3-1-1 for Carry-Ons program to ensure a smooth travel experience. The 3-1-1 program provides information on packing liquids and gels in your carry-on bags.
