The Kent County Department of Aeronautics is requesting proposals for the provision of a Financial Management System (FMS) though a partner that has a proven ability to provide world-class implementation and on-going support. There will be a mandatory pre-submission conference in the International Room at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport, 5500 44th Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 10:00 am Local Time. Responses must be received by the Kent County Purchasing Division, 300 Monroe Avenue NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 no later than 2:00 pm on Friday, August 7, 2015.
The Kent County Department of Aeronautics is currently requesting interested Professional Civil Engineering Consultants to submit experience and qualifications to the Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GFIA) Board in regards to providing preliminary and final design services and construction engineering services for the reconstruction of a surface parking lot adjacent to the parking deck, including all geo-technical analysis, survey, preliminary and final design plans, specifications, construction phasing plans, and construction cost estimates.

The Kent County Department of Aeronautics is seeking proposals for Professional Employer Organization (PEO) services for the Gerald R. Ford International Airport to (1) support the transition of HR services from the County to the new Airport Authority and to (2) continue with HR service support for the Authority moving forward on its own. The contract for PEO services will be with the Airport Authority and will cover all employees previously employed at the Airport by the County (transferring employees) and employees newly hired by the Authority. PEO services selected will be at the sole discretion of the Airport Authority Board and may change as the provision of Human Resources developes and maturess at the Authority. Qualifications must be received by the Kent County Purchasing Division, 300 Monroe Avenue NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503 no later than 2:00 pm on Friday, August 28, 2015.

The Kent County Department of Aeronautics Health and Safety Standards Program is presented in this document. Contractors who have additional questions should contact the Department of Aeronautics.
DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) PROGRAM
The Kent County Department of Aeronautics has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program and an Airport Concession DBE (ACDBE) program in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) 49 CFR Part 26 and Part 23 respectively. It is the policy of the Kent County Department of Aeronautics to ensure that DBEs and ACDBE’s, as defined in part 26 and Part 23, have an equal opportunity to receive and participate in DOT-assisted contracts and concession opportunities. A full copy of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program document is available for review. AIRPORT RULES AND REGULATIONS
These Airport Rules and Regulations have been adopted by the Gerald R. Ford International Airport Board. The provisions of this document are intended to provide for the safe, orderly, and efficient operation of the Airport. Violation of these Rules and Regulations will subject the offender to administrative action by the Board through the Kent County Department of Aeronautics and to penalties for such violations as provided in these Rules and Regulations.
All users of and any persons on the Airport property are governed by these Rules and Regulations. It is the responsibility of all persons, firms, and corporations operating on the Airport to acquaint themselves with and adhere to the Rules and Regulations at all times.
